I am still working on getting the reloaded Windows system configured. There were lots and lots of third party software products on that box, and they all have to be reloaded. Here are the stats for this machine so far:
- Linux – 1 hour. All drivers, all applications loaded and configured. No reboots necessary
- Windows – 6 hours. All drivers, very few applications loaded. 8 reboots required. It should take at least another 4 hours to finish.
Don’t you just LOVE that wonderful money maker for Bill proprietary operating system?
