I pulled the hard disks out of the computer in which I screwed up the BIOS, and put them in another machine. And of course, that POS operating system Windows didn’t like the hardware change. So I had to reload Windows. And since Windows thinks it’s the only operating system in the world and it takes over the boot sector, I had to reload Linux as well. Which gave me an opportunity to try out Mepis 6.5.
I am still installing software for Windows, which will take several days as I discover which programs are now missing. With Linux, it takes maybe an hour. Which O/S is better?
