I did a complete backup up of all my web sites. I normally back up the database on each of them at the start of a new week, but I also backed up the static files this time.
If anyone takes down these sites like they did to Rimrock Software, I will be ready.
I finally finished the database design on the coaching program. I need to fine tune it, but it is ready for the development of the program. As part of the development, I need to get mysql running on my notebook again. When I reloaded the notebook with Mepis Linux, I also needed to restart the mysql server, but I’m having trouble with that.I did get everything else working on the notebook. I have loaded and verified that both Quantas and The Gimp work on the machine. I am very happy with everything about the new distro except for the menu, which I can change at any time.
