The last time I reviewed a local restaurant, it was Los Sanchez, a mexican restaurant on the corner of 4th and Appleway in Coeur d’Alene. Well, Los Sanchez is gone now. It has new owners, a refurbished interior and a new name – Fiesta Mexicana.
Fiesta Mexicana is even better than Los Sanchez was. It offers some very eclectic dishes, with a mexican flair. I have tried their mexican stir fry, chicken with sour cream sauce and Fiesta chicken enchilada. They were all delicious and a far cry from mexican fast food fair. Highly recommended if you are passing through Coeur d’Alene, Idaho anytime.
As you can tell from the posts, I am adding back the Dutch oven recipes I had on the web site. All this is taking way too much time, but it should be worth the time I spend on it.
When I looked for my email tonight, my main email account had 52 messages in it (normal is about 10). Of the 52, 49 were spam. I’ve just about had it with these illegal messages that waste my storage and bandwidth. As a private citizen, though I can’t do much. About the only thing I can do is help to convert unsuspecting bot-hosts (clueless Windows users) to Linux users. The more Linux and OS-X in the world, the less bot slaves and the less spam.
Well, it’s 10° F this morning, with the wind at about 9 mph, wich gives us a wind chill of -2.5° F. Nice and brisk. It’s supposed to warm up in the next few days, which will be fine with me.
